WILLIAM H. DIXON  a son of Thomas and Margaret Dixon, is a native
of Morgan County;  he was born October 18, 1844, and was married in
this county, October 24, 1869, to Rebecca, daughter of William and Mary
Brown, and born November 16, 1841.  Mrs. Dixon died June 13, 1883. 
Mr. Dixon is a much esteemed citizen, a practical man, and a member of 
the Methodist Episcopal Church.  Mr. and Mrs. Dixon are parents of five 
children, whose names are as follows:  Robert H., John P., Morgan, Mary,
and Lawson J. (deceased).
