Benjamin Short married Elizabeth Stanley. She was born in 1800 and died after 1850. Benjamin Short and Elizabeth Stanley had the following child:

Benjamin Short married second Frances "Fanny" Ball (daughter of John Ball and Willmuth ?) on 15 Apr 1869. Frances "Fanny" Ball was born in Campbell County, VA.
