David Short married Polly Cantrell on 26 Jul 1849 in Letcher Co., Ky. She was the daughter of Hiram Cantrell and Nancy Mullins.Polly Cantrell was born May 1835 in Pike Co., KY and died about 1870 in Wise Co., VA.
