Abraham Potter was born on 13 Aug 1837 in Letcher Co., KY. He died on 13 May 1913 in Pike County, Kentucky. He was buried on 15 May 1913 in Bentley Cemetery. Death Certificate lists date of birth as 27 Aug 1837

Abraham Potter was married to Margaret "Peggy" Newsome (daughter of Hartwell Newsome and Sallie Tolbey) on 15 Jul 1859. Margaret "Peggy" Newsome was born in 1835 in VA. She died about 1868. She is buried in Dunham Letcher Co., KY. Abraham Potter and Margaret "Peggy" Newsome had the following children:

Abraham Potter was married to Sarah "Sally" Wright (daughter of Joel Ellis Wright and Eliza Agnes Wallis) on 15 Jul 1869. Sarah "Sally" Wright was born on 10 Mar 1847. She died on 8 Nov 1925. Abraham Potter and Sarah "Sally" Wright had the following children:
