Southern Beef Stew
Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef stew meat, cut into 1 inch cubes
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can beef broth (double strength)
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 4-5 carrots, peeled and sliced
- 3-4 potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 package (16 oz) frozen green peas
- 1 can water (use beef broth can)
Place meat in a crockpot (5 quart). Toss with flour, salt and pepper.
Add remaining ingredients and stir to mix well. Cover and cook on low for
10-12 hours or on high for 5-8 hours.
