She did get a couple of graphic programs that use photos which look interesting. She got to buy the two programs for less than the retail price of one of them.
Johnny and I say prayers together every night. He is rather fussy in that they have to be said in order. First, Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep--with a change. If I should die before I wake has been changed to Keep me safe all through the night, and wake me with the morning light.
Next is the Our Father followed by the Doxology. Then we thank the Lord for blessings followed by petitions for others and ending with a request that John has pleasant dreams.
Occasionally, he would ask that we skip the part about praying for other people. Thinking that he was just too tired, I agreed. But, a couple of nights ago, I realized that this might become a habit. So, I insisted that we need to pray for others and that when he was a tiny baby in the hospital that people had prayed for him. He thought that over, asked who had said prayers for him and hasn't given me a bit of trouble about praying for others since then.
Did you ever notice that when you start to clean a closet or a room, you end up making a bigger mess first? My room is really a disaster now! I got down boxes of stuff to sort through because a charity for abused women is going to pick up donated items today. I found enough clothes that my son had outgrown and clothes that my other sister had given me and I thought that I might someday get thin enough to wear to fill a 30 gallon trash sack. When I stopped to think about it, I realized that even if my some miracle, I got a lot thinner, I still wouldn't wear the mini-skirts.
My mouth is hurting again. I wish that the pain would just go away. Or that a miracle would occur and I had the money to take care of this.
Faye and Delton have gone to Comdex together this morning. It will be interesting to see what they bring home tonight. With everything else that she's bringing home, maybe a larger harddrive might be a wise purchase. A zip drive would be nice, too. Alas, no money in the budget for those items.
