TAMISHA'S COOKIES

Oven temperature: 375 degrees F
Baking Time: 10 to 11 min for chewy, 15 min for crisp
This is Tamisha's favorite cookie recipe and it is her own creation. Follow the link to her page and let her know how you like the recipe. They are always the first cookies to go at her house during the holidays.

Ingredients:
1-1/4 cups butter or margarine, softened
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 cup sugar
3 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
1-1/2 cups all purpose flour
1-1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 TBSP Cinnamon
1 TBSP Nutmeg
3-3/4 cups Quaker Oats (quick or old fashioned)
6 oz bag Ocean Spray craisins
1 cup milk chocolate chips
2 cups Peanutbutter

Preparation
Beat margarine with white and brown sugars until creamy. Mix in peanutbutter, eggs and vanilla, blending well with each addition.
Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Add to the margarine mixture, mixing well.
Stir in oats, then Craisins and chocolate chips. Mix well and drop by rounded tablespoons onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375 degrees for 10-11 minutes for chewier cookies, or 15 minutes for a crispier cookie.
Cool for 1 minute. Remove from sheets to wire racks. Store airtight.
