I would like to share an
original poem one of the students at our college wrote for me.
The title is Mary.
M - is for mother, her hint of "motherly love",
A - is for angelic, the disposition from above.
R - is for respect, for what she gives and also gets.
Y - is for yearning to know those she doesn't yet.
She's always there to laugh and play, perhaps share a word or two.
She may not know everything, but tries to help, that's all anyone can do.
She's very involved and very concerned about our student affairs,
Participating, encouraging, interacting at student events, you'll always find her there.
She expresses her concerns and goes far beyond her "call of duty", just to show she cares.
If you've got a problem, no matter how trivial, and Mary is aware,
Never fear, you won't be alone because Mary's always there.
