I sit within these dungeon walls
And cry meself to sleep….
I thought I was a Cat alone….
I’d never heard a peep…
Then behold! Throughout the night
A sound awoke me…Pray!
What was that noise? That sad refrain...
That echoed into the day?
Alas! Alone…Twas not to be..
For deep within the gloom
Came the cries of hundreds more
Who also faced their doom…
Feel pity all ye kindly CL’s dear
And to your “Heart” recall
The times- the joys -we have all shared
And free us one and all!
Take your brave self to the address below
And find within your soul
The time to make a letter…please
And make our ranks be whole!
I beseech your Heartland Heart
And tell you of our plight
The hoards of fellow Leaders
Yea…such a piteous sight…
So please take time to visit us
Within these dungeon walls
And free us with your pen in hand
Remove us from these halls!
Oh Woe is me! They’ve locked us up
For reasons so unkind!
We need your grace…your kind concern
Or Croc doo you will find…….
