This may be my favorite all time picture. Not because of the way I look, (I look exhausted) but because of the way I felt when it was taken. First of all, I was holding my newborn daughter. Secondly, it was Christmas time. I had just finished cooking a huge meal for all my extended family, and our house was bursting at the seams with family and love!!
(and don't forget our dog at my feet)
This is a picture of 4 generations of women in my family. My grandmother, my Mom, me and Sarabeth. It was taken when Sarabeth was 2 months old, 5 months before my grandmother died.
