We live in a suburb of Columbus, Ohio! I have lived in this suburb all my life and am very proud to raise my kids here!!
We live close to Ohio State University, home of the Ohio State Buckeyes!! GO BUCKS!! A lot of people have asked me what a buckeye is. A buckeye is a nut that grows on the buckeye tree. It looks like this.....
One of our favorite places to go is COSI.COSI is the Center of Science and Industry and they have wonderful exhibits with LOTS of fun stuff for the kids to do!! The Columbus Museum of Art makes a great quiet day trip. We don't go there much right now because the boys tend to get a little bored!! Another serene place to visit is Franklin Park Conservatory. Inside there are beautiful exhibits of plants and trees in all different habitats! The kids really like the Ohio Historical Society. They have a section called Ohio Village that is a working representation of an old Ohio town. They also like to go hiking in Hocking Hills!! But, thier favorite place is the Columbus Zoo, home of Jungle Jack Hanna!!!
