    Sewing With Paint Dropcloths...

    I used paint dropcloths to make inexpensive toss pillows, table round, and
    slipcovers for my sofa. This gave a very natural look.
    *Editor's note-For those who have young children, this fabric would be extremely
    durable, inexpensive, and comes in a very wide width to make sewing
    large items easier (no piecing together!).

    I'm making my daughter a vanity table skirt and matching chair cover from a Waverly fabric that I waited and bought on sale. This will give a lovely designer look for a fraction of the cost and I can add all the frills and flounces without paying a fortune. It only takes a little time and some imagination. Take a moment to look at catalogs that feature high-end items for the home to gather ideas to duplicate! It's easier than you might think! =)
