After nearly a year of having the web page looking the same Jeff and I
figured it was about time to update and put a new face on so to speak.
We are still together and have been very busy building a life for our-
selves and our three children. We unfortunately do not have the time to
spend on the computer that we used to have, and have lost touch with a
lot of our friends. We of course wish them well and god speed in their lives
and hope that they will remember to drop us a line now and then. As with
most things life gets in the way and things can never stay the same. The
same people we knew together, people you thought would always be there are
no longer around but we have heard from others that they are alive and doing
well. In regards to all those who have signed our guest book ( and by the way
we appreciate each and every message we receive) it's true that while the
internet can be a very dangerous place sometimes, at other times it can bring
the opportunity of your lifetime. Jeff and I, however, do encourage everyone
to exercise the upmost in common sense and safety. It would be lovely if the
world was the kind of a place that the "You Have Mail" story was
commonplace but realistically that is usually not the case; but as you can see
with us there are always exceptions to every rule. And while the heart will
always try to rule the head, make sure you know who you are talking to.
Jeff and I are great believers in a safe internet -- with three kids you have to
be very careful. And what we have here is probably the most powerful
tool ever known. It provides education - which is power. And it
provides entertainment which keeps from making "Jack" a dull boy as the
saying goes.
So enough of us getting on our soap box about how the world should be
a better place -- except to say that "random acts of kindness" are always
a fantastic idea to keep life fun and keep people guessing.
In the future we will try to update more. We have a lot of ideas we want
to expand upon such as safe sites for kids ( which when we do get it done
will be checked by us on a regular basis to make sure that the sites continue
to be safe). And maybe a recipe page - my recipes not Jeff's we all can't cook
by fire alarm like him that takes a special talent in itself. And of course we have
to expand on the Christmas page -- it's getting near June and is never in my
opinion to early to think about holiday decorating ideas.
Jeff and I do however have a not so friendly competition going as to which
one of us gets more visitors to our pages. Unfortunately for me because Jeff
has cheated and made use of webrings and peoples undying faith to Pink
Floyd, he is as this point winning -- so I need the help of all of you and I don't
care if you have to log on and off a hundred times please bring me more
visitors -- bring your friends -- bring you family -- have a barbeque but PLEASE
I'm begging you don't visit his Pink Floyd page ( I will be serving him breakfast
in bed for all eternity if I don't soon get more visitors then him).
Well enough said--enoy your tour and look for exciting new updates all the
time. If there is something you would especially like to see on this page don't
be afraid to ask we aim to please (within reason of course -- and with a family
content in mind).
