name was Hemi Noa, and he was adopted into the Tenamu whanau in Tautoro just
out of Kaikohe. My farther was born in 1900 but on his birth certificate it
is 1905. I believe his farther was Pouaka Noa or my farthers surname was spelt
Noah. and as far as I know, my farther grand farther were from the Ngapuhi
