THOMAS ROSSON From: kellyg3@ipa.net To: jbelew@bellsouth.net Jean,I wonder if you could help me find any information on my great-grandfather,John Thomas Rosson.I believe he was in Cartersville in Dec.1863.Anything you might know on him or any other Rossons would be greatly appreciated. Billy Don Gilliam-bdgillia@ipa.net "janet yancey" jjc@gvtc.com to jbelew@bellsouth.net Hello, I may have written to you before. I am searching for John W. Cox, which on the 1830, Georgia Census, he is listed as:John W. Cox, 1830 GA. Census, Cass Co. Where do you suggest that I look for him. I do know that he was born in this year, because he is accounted for again in Arkansas 1860 Census, as being 30 yrs old. If he is on the 1830 GA. Census, do you think that his family owned land, or would this be a listing of someone else's household, that they are included in? Janet, Texas

Charles Gillam BonBonSass@aol.com To: jbelew@bellsouth.net Dear Jean, My ancestor, Sarah Conway Ewell Blair Black, moved from Laurens County, SC, after 1850 to Euharlee, Ga. She is supposedly buried in an unmarked grave by the side of Arthur Spann Black at Euharlee Presbyterian Church. I have seen the grave of Arthur and there is a large area around it that is probably many unmarked graves. Sarah moved to Bartow County with her son-in-law, Charles Gillam, and his daughter Sarah C. Gillam. Evidently, Sarah's daughter had died in Laurens and she lived with her son-in-law to help care for the granddaughter. This is the 1850 Laurens County census: 1850 South Carolina Census, Laurens County Page 206B 51/51 Charles Gillam, 37, M, Farmer, $2,000 Sarah C., 4, F Sarah C. Black, 70, F I have been searching for information on Charles Gillam and his daughter and cannot find a burial place or will. I do not have access to marriage records to look for the marriage of Sarah C. Gillam.
