Below - Dress Blues (under the cuff) Patches - -
Left -Mermaid; Right - Red Dragon

If you have a photo of one of the patches ... a mermaid or dragon ... would appreciate you sharing it with me. I would put on this page and tell who donated it.

Below - Ships Logo Patch (usually embroidery) The Year it was adopted unknown. I went aboard in 1955 as ship's Yeoman and no one was wearng that logo emblem. I found a rubber stamp in the desk drawer. Below is how I remember appeared. Any information on it would be appreciated.

GUESS WHAT ... today (4/3/2006), I received via email, a photo (below)
of an actual patch of the Logo.
It was sent to me by Eddie Pinson - epinson@spro.net
It was sent to him by
Roy LEE, from Shreve Port, LA.
Roy was a Coxswain in the U. S. Navy during World War II.
Eddie was a Yeoman on the Net Tender USS Butternut.
