Daytime and nighttime he walks alone,
Pawprints left on the ground below,
Hunters menace, never to be stopped,
The end comes quick; but not without pain,
The body they can kill,

ever watchful all around.
he waits and stands his ground.
till one day the lone wolf is found.
as the lone wolf dies with nary a sound.
but now the spirit is unbound.
