ABIDJAN'S DIAMOND SABRE,
CD, JC, CGC, TDI

(August 6, 1987-September 15, 1997)

From the Abidjan Kennels of Ed and Cathy Nasierowski, Sabre was a heartstealer
from the moment we first met. A multiple Group placer in both the US and Canada,
he earned his JC quickly but took his time about garnering his CD. At the 1994
Borzoi Club of Greater New York Specialty, Sabre duplicated Beau's win in the
Veteran dog class, and then proceeded to go one better by also taking Versatility
Dog, Best in Versatility, and an Award of Merit at the same Specialty!

As a sire, Sabre has sired 7 champions who's titles were earned in the US, Peru and Canada, with 2 young adults on their way, out of a total of three litters equaling 16!

Sabre took 1st place in his Veteran Sweep class at the 97 BCOA Nationals! And went
BOS at the 1st Canadian Borzoi Nationals Sweeps!! Even at the age of 10, this
handsome boy could still make us proud.

Sadly, Sabre has passed on. His friends mourn his passing, and grieve for a
wonderful gentlemen. 

Dear Sabre,

                     I see you as a baby,                             
    All Cute and cuddly.

I see you at 8 months old,
   All gangly and gawky.

I see you at two years,    
   All Grown and Regal.

I see you running the fields,
   Flying like an eagle.

But, Dear Sabre,
