TEX
I am looking for any information on the TEX surname. According
to
family oral history, Nicholas TEX came to the United States
around 1870
from Luxembourg. According to his obituary he came to live with
an
Uncle, John TEX, in Southport, Marion Co., Indiana, USA.
His obit also
says that his father was John TEX and mother Elizabeth.
How can his
uncle and his father be named John? Even if you do not know of
this
Nicholas TEX, please respond if you know of any TEX surname.
This is a
very unusual surname in the US and I must assume we are all related.
