GOD'S OWN DOMAIN
I was feeling despondent in a time of my life,
The world and it's worries and all of the strife.
The words that God gave me to pass on to you,
Were very simple and easy, there's very little to do.
Just remember your feelings come from your head and heart,
Don't sit around complaining, that's wrong from the start.
There's a power from above, no man can explain,
Remember, don't worry, that's God's domain.
He has the power of legions, but noone will he harm,
He has the beauty of nature, but noone will he charm.
The tears in your eyes and the rush in your brain,
This is the power of God that noone can explain.
YOU are the power of God and God's own domain.
You're playing with fire when you start to complain,
You say your midlife crisis, there is no such thing.
The woman I love and the woman I wed,
The woman lying next to me in my bed,
Just remember her presence and the tears in your eyes,
These are all gifts from God, they are real and alive.
