Diary of A Prolife Activist (contd)
Jailed For Life
There was another inmate from one of the other cell blocks that when we were out at recreation one day I overheard her telling someone else that she was going to have an abortion, so I went up to her and befriended her and counseled her, and it wound up that I was able to call out to a local Crisis Pregnancy Center and they sent someone in to counsel with her, and I believe her baby was saved. So even though we were incarcerated, we still were saving babies and educating mothers.
When you are a prisoner you automatically get a third of your sentence knocked off, because there is a law that says the jails are too crowded. They were actually turning out prisoners who were convicted of felonies and keeping us in who had not really committed a crime. So out of a six month sentence we had to serve two and one half months.
My husband, daughters, and a few dear friends came to visit me while I was in prison. For me the hardest part was missing my family. I will never know till I get to heaven how many lives may have been touched through my witness for the Lord, Jesus, I just pray that He continues to use me in a mighty way. He who the Lord sets free is free indeed.
Although most of the courts, and judges are so biased, and put out harsh sentences to break the back of the Rescue movement, I believe God
will show us another way. There has to be a way to end abortion, it is legalized murder. Even after being in jail for two and one half months, when I got out I could not stay away from the killing centers. When they are killing innocent children for money, someone, and everyone should do something!
We do have a few very dedicated people who are out at the killing centers everyday, doing sidewalk counseling. We do have local Crisis Pregnancy Centers that are geared up to help mothers in need. There are people working in the political realm to try to overturn these abominable laws.
And all of this works together for the good. But never in history has any law been changed until the people take to the streets!
