Hoi Op - Steamed Mussels

1 lb. fresh mussels in shell, thoroughly cleaned
3-4 bottom half of lemongrass stalks, cut and crushed
1 cup Thai basil leaves
1/2 cup Kaffir lime leaves, shredded (if not available, use lime rinds)
1-2 tsp salt

1. In a steamer tray place the mussels and herbs with salt.
2. Steam until the mussels start to open (approximately 10-15 minutes).
3. Serve with garlic/lime dip.
