Our Pond and Waterfalls

pic1

Pic 1 shows the bed when it was first planted. I had to use a "livestock watering tank" because of the rocks. I didn't know how deep I could sink it. Luckily I found a pocket that allowed most of it to be sunk into the ground.

pic2

Pic2 shows the pond bed that summer. It filled in wonderfully. That chicken litter sure makes the plants grow.

Pic 3 is the second year for the pond bed. The picture was taken in the spring. See the apple tree blossoming in the background.

pic4

Pic 4 is later that spring. Believe it or not there is a waterfall and pond in that area.

pic5

Pic 5 See here it is.

pic6

Pic 6 is a picture taken during that summer. Kind a think I over did it with the chicken litter??? That darken area in the photo is the falls. See I told you chicken litter was a great fertilizer. And it is cheap. Just be careful,or you may find Tarzan swing through your yard.
