Heinrich "Henry" Scherpf was born 27 March 1830 at Neudorf bei Wachtersbach, Oberhessen, Hessen, Germany and died 14 April 1875 at Burgbracht, Oberhessen, Hessen, Germany. He married Katharina Volz 11 May 1858 at Burgbracht, Oberhessen, Hessen, Germany. Heinrich Peter "Henry" Scherpf was born 22 November 1867 at Burgbracht, Hessen, Germany and died 31 May 1945 at Washougal, Clark Co., WA. He served in the Germany Army 1887-1890 and immigrated to the US in March 1891. He resided on a farm in the Mt. Norway district of Washougal, Clark Co., WA 1891-1918. He married Wilhelmina Emanzia "Minnie" Campen 22 March 1897 at Washougal, Clark Co., WA. She was born 2 November 1879 at Rushville, Schuyler Co., IL and died 3 November 1974 at Camas, Clark Co., WA. See the Campen Family for information on her ancestry. Both were members of Bethel Congregational Church at Washougal and are buried at Washougal Memorial Cemetery, Washougal, WA.
