Border BackgroundTo make a border background using an image..... Open the image in paint shop pro. On the toolbar, click Image, Resample (it's better to use resample instead of resize because resampling will keep most of the picture intact and it doesn't lose much) to a small size, I used 100 x 90 for this. Decide what colour you want the rest of your background to be, I chose white for mine. Then click on toolbar Image, Enlarge Canvas. When the box pops up, type in width, 1280 and height, 90 and make sure Center Image is not checked. Click ok and you have your border. You can save it as a jpeg, or reduce colours and save it as a gif. If you have the 32-bit PSP (win95), you can add a drop shadow to the picture before enlarging the canvas. Also, you can open a new image say, 90 x 90 and fill it with a solid colour. Then, once you know what colour you want your background, enlarge canvas like above, width=1280, height=90 and center image not checked, click ok and you have your border background. Typing in text so it doesn't run into the border.... Use the <table> tag for this. For this page I used: Put this after </head> tag ... Then at the end of the page, before the </body> tag, put...
