Cynthia Hearn's BioMy name is Cynthia and I live in St. Petersburg, Florida. Many people know me as flamingo in this cyberworld. Technology has been a part of my life for many years. I minored in computers while going to college. Those were the days of typing your programs on cards. Wow, have things changed! I've been on the Internet for about 5 years. It has been fascinating watching the rapid changes on the Internet. I love change and a good challenge. I have worked at many different jobs. Some include construction, postal work, cartography, and teaching. I can do anything that I set my mind to do. My first real career was as a cartographer. I went to college full time while working as a cartographer. After graduation I began my teaching career. My first teaching position was in Killeen, Texas, where I taught Special Education students at a Middle School. Next, I taught Special Education and Regular Education students at an Elementary School in Wuerzburg, Germany. Currently, I'm teaching Special Education students at a High School and I Co-Chair the Technology Committee. Some of my hobbies and/or interests are Technology/Internet (of course), running (Carpe Viam), canoeing/kayaking, traveling, music, and photography. |
