American Museum of Natural History
Thinking Fountain: Science Museum of Minnesota - This one takes a long time to load (153k), especially on a 14.4 modem, but should be an attraction to students.
A Teacher's Guide to the Holocaust - Wonderful site! Well put together!
Classroom Connect on the Net - Cynthia likes the layout and the graphics. Easy to get around and informative.
Taligent.com - Vote by Chris who "loves the color choices, especially in the button bar (menu)... (which) is a frame down the left side. You wouldn't even know it is a frame, but, when you click on a link, you can see that the button bar (menu) stays right there.I also like the way the text is right-justified and spaced. It was very easy for me to find what I was looking for. Neat how the date goes down the right margin. It is a simple, uncluttered page that is restful."
Doug's Boat Page - Page just doesn't work. Good ideas but not put together well.
J-POP - Busy background. Color combination makes the fonts difficult to read.
Busycom Computer Consulting - BUSY!!! Animation abuser. No method to the madness. Animation for animation sake.
From Ann Steer:
I think this is sort of neat site but it leads to a really bad example when you click on the paw - on my browser the text runs across the cute left and right borders and looks really bad.
Colors are really bad in this one, although I like the concept of the site
Ugly because everything is centered - including the long lines of text and an ugly/busy background
