Notes for B.H. FOSTER

Not at all sure that B.H. Foster is the son of Moses and Polly. He was
listed as in this house on the 1850 Census. This needs further research.
The records of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Singleton list a Berryman H. Foster as
the son of William and Sarah.
There is a Berryman H. Foster listed among the South Carolina Dead In CSA
Service in Broken Fortunes. This Berryman Foster was listed as from
Charleston District. Could be the same person and he moved to Charleston
or the listing could be in error. If it is the same person, he served in
Regiment 27th SCVI, Company B as a Private, killed at Blandford Church,
Petersburg, VA, 5/26/1864.
