MORELAND, HURLEY-Searching for information on Sarah MORELAND who married John HURLEY, Sr. ca 1828 in Eastern Tennessee. They had one child in Tennessee and then migrated to Indiana. Sarah MORELAND died in Parke/Putnam Co. Indiana ca 1843. Sarah MORELAND would be my ggggrandmother. This is the only information I have on the MORELANDS. I have a lot of descendant information that I would be more than glad to share.

MORELAND, SIMPSON-Searching for ancestry of my GG-Grandfather, William MORELAND, who fought in the Revolutionary War and as near as I can determine, was born either in Virginia or the Carolinas. He had a daughter named Nancy, b. 12 Nov. 1794, who married Thomas James SIMPSON.
