our cats. Please pull up a chair and stay a while.
We are a small CFA cattery located in Southern California,
the Los Angeles area. How we got our start is not that different
from most breeders. I attended a rather large local show with no
intention of becoming a breeder.I couldn't help but notice a man
carrying this dark brown (sable) cat with a round head and the biggest,
roundest gold eyes i'd ever seen.It was love at first sight!!
Just like in the movies it was a crowded room I gazed across
and couldn't stop staring. I had to have one. So I took a year
and learned everything that I could about the breed. I talked
to any/every breeder I could.(You should've seen my phone bill!)
I decided to start with the best! Hence Anoka Tsunami of Hui Lani
was my first cat.
Our name, "Hui Lani", means a group of angels and
that's exactly what our cattery is, it's a group of angels.
There is nothing in this world like being owned by a Burmese.
They are the ultimate companion.They love being with people.
They truly are the dog lover's cat. They greet you at the door
when you come home from work. Some even fetch!!
If you have never seen a Burmese in action just
go to your local cat show, they're easy enough to spot.
The Burmese will be the cat on the judging table entertaining
the crowd, getting all the applause.
