Eliza Ann (Scott written and then crossed out) D Spain was borned the 28 of Dec 1838
Mary Susan D Spain was borned January the 15 on Sunday knight at Eleven o clock 1857
Catharin Ann D Spain was borned Nov the 17th 1858 Wednesday 5 oc eavning
William Thomas DeSpain was borned the 1 day of November 1860 at one O Clock in the Knight
George Franklin D Spain was borned 27 day of August 1863 at 7 O Clock PM
James Edward D Spain was borned June the 9th 1/2 O Clock Eav on Saturday this June 9th 1867
Alexander DeSpain was borned March the 13th at 7 O Clok Eavy 1868
Lilly Jane DeSpain was borned 18 of July at 12 O Clk in the day 1870
Ben Louis DeSpain was born September the 1st 1872
Ida Leann DeSpain was born September the 1st 1872

 

Corrections/Additions

William Lewis DeSpain was the son of Silas DeSpain & Abigail Edwards.
He and Eliza were married in Green Co., Kentucky.
William left the family in 1872 and nobody knows where he went.
It is suspected that he ended up in Illinois.

Eliza Ann Scott DeSpain was the son of James G. Scott and Anne Mc(K)Nabb.

Mary Susan, affectionately called Aunt Sudie.  She never married.

Catharine Ann married Milton L. Marcum.  Both are buried in Greensburg Cemetery, Green Co., Ky

William Thomas, called Will Tom, married Nancy "Nannie" Wilson.  He died in Larue Co., Kentucky

George Franklin, called "Frank", married Amanda S. Towne.  He is buried in Vaughn Cemetery, near Gabe, Green Co., Kentucky

James Edward, went by Ed, was a doctor.  He married Nina May Washer.  He died in Elizabethtown, Larue Co., Kentucky

Alexander, was called Alex.

Lillie Jane married James Hardy Woodward.  Both are buried in Greensburg Cemetery, Green Co., Kentucky

Ben Louis actually spelled his name Benjamin Lewis.  He married Alice Josephine Foster.  He went by B.L. and was a Presbyterian Minister.  They are both buried in Bennett Cemetery, near Gabe, Green Co., Kentucky.

Ida Leann married Charlie H. Marcum.  Charlie and Catharine's husband Milton were brothers.
Ida is buried in Marcum Cemetery, Green Co., Kentucky
