Rainbow Creator's Stories January 2001

I found my rainbow's end on line. I used to go to chat a lot, and that is where I met my husband. We chatted on line for almost a year before we met. At Christmas in 1999, he came to my house. That was all I wanted for Christmas and I was very happy. On April 14,2000 we were married and I have to be the most happy woman on earth. He is perfect as I knew he would be.

If you print this, maybe some of our old friends will see it, and I would like to say, I know for a fact that not everyone in chat is lying or playing games. On line we were Gatekeeper and Lillith or IRON_KNIGHTMARE and MINISTRY_LADY_KNIGHT. So you see dreams and wishes do come true and there really are a few knights in shining armor still out there. Thanks for the opportunity to tell our story, and God bless chatters and surfers everywhere.

My story is sad but true...the day I lost my grammie, I was so terribly distraught until the day of her funeral...that is when I saw a rainbow..it was then that I remembered what she always said...when you see a rainbow, always remember that God made it just for you.....thanx grammie.

There was once a girl that never prayed, went to church, or really believe in God.
So one day when she went suddenly blind, she turned into a better person.
It's like magic, how it changed her. Then she believed in God and asked God for forgiveness...
and God's gift to her was getting her sight back.

It's hard to choose just one thing in a lifetime of blessings. However, the one thing that really stands out to me is when my first son was born at 24 weeks gestation. He was 1 lb. 5 oz. and had less than a 20% chance to live. We lived an hour away from the hospital and I was seriously ill. The people that came out of the woodwork to help us was astonishing. They made us meals, gave us gas money, fed our dogs, shoveled the driveway, sat next to the isolette (incubator) with us, prayed for us, cried with us. When I look back at that very dark time in our lives, there are rainbows all over giving us light. My son is now a beautiful happy healthy 8 year old and I am thankful each day for the blessings we have.

Since I was probably about 5 years old(which was a long time ago), I have been obsessed with rainbows. I have them everywhere. Most of the crafts that I do have a rainbow theme. In fact my e-mail is short for rainbow. They give me a sense of peace and even when I am having one of my "blue" days, they give me a lift. There have been some very dark times in my life and it has always made me feel a little better when I see one.

The day we brought our fourth daughter home from the hospital, there was a rainbow.
She had been in the Neo Natal ICU for five weeks.
She was our little pot of gold.
Sadly, she passed away at 14 1/2 years old, on Sept. 23, 1999.
I haven't seen any rainbows since.

Back a few years ago, my one and only sister got me a rainbow.
It was so beautiful to have it with all the light.
So I have cherished it forever but unfortunately some one took it from me.

Believe it or not one day when I was forced to drive on a very dangerous road in a "white out" condition, I happened to glance to the east and saw a beautiful rainbow. The storm grew worse and the road was twisting and turning like a serpents back, many people I know have been killed on that road, actually. As I was in such a hurry due to time constraints I had no choice but to try to keep driving.

All of a sudden everything grew completely white and my vision was lost entirely as to the road - when magically and quite suddenly, one of the ENDS of the rainbow landed what appeared to be on the hood of my truck... I was so amazed I just stared at it and never even slowed my truck down... Believe it or not that rainbow guided, yes, guided my truck and I through the storm on that dreadful road that magical day.

I will never forget the power of the rainbow as God's Promise it be.

Two years ago we moved to a new house. My son, who was then 4, was sitting on the sofa, when he started yelling mommie, there's a rainbow in our house.
The new house's door had a key hole that projected a rainbow onto the wall and my son also had the dogs trying to chase it away.

My mother collected small crystal ornaments that she hung in the dining room window. They made beautiful rainbows on the walls. When she died, we split the crystals among her seven children. My oldest sister hung hers from the rearview mirror in her car. One day, while driving, the sun hit it just right and her 3 year old daughter saw it and said "look mommy, grandma is sending us rainbows from heaven!" Now everytime I see a "crystal" rainbow, I think of my mother and know she is sending her love!

Since I spend alot of time on the internet, I find many interesting sites. One of the best I recently found was www.freedonations.com . In just a small amount of time you can donate to many good causes (hunger, homeless, etc). It works on a referral program, so it doesn't cost us anything (advertisers pay). Makes me feel good!!

I home school my son and last year when he was in kindergarden, he made a big rainbow when we were learning colors. He put a person on top and when I asked him who it was, he said it was me, his mom, because I bring so many fun colors to his life.

true story one day not to long ago I was so sad and lonely feeling unloved and not worthy of much. I became suicidal and after years of fighting it and lots of treatment. I have learned to think it through but this day last fall I was too through and I wanted it all to be over .I was driving to where I lived and was spiritually talking to my god. Yes we chat often any way I looked out of my teary eyes out the side window and there was this rainbow. I smiled and at that moment when i couldnt find any reason to go on there was this rainbow it was an awakening for me . I KNEW THAT NO MATTER WHAT SOME ONE DID LOVE ME AND HE SAVED ME FROM MYSELF AGAIN. THIS MAY SOUND LAME BUT FOR ME IT IS MY WAY TO BE HERE FOR A REASON WHATEVER IT SHOULD BE

When you are in time of trouble a rainbow is a friend.

It colors are there to remind you of the color of life.

Red share to remind you of Christ blood for you. Also the red shade are for courage to go on.

The Blue shade are for peace in your life. So there will be smooth sailing, like on the water.

The yellow shades are for the sunshire, that always come after a storm. It let you know that you can go on.

So you see you need all the shade of the of the rainbow for your life, to keep watch out for you.

I use to tell my children when they were very young that if they could ever find the end of the rainbow, that there would be a big pot of gold! There would be enough gold to go anywhere or do anything that they wanted to do!

Well, my Daughter came home one day and said that she had found the end of the rainbow and there was not a pot of gold like I had told her.

She sat down and cried and cried for she had wanted to go to a theme park at the time, but there was just not enough money for luxuries then.

Well, the school found out about it and sent all of our family to the theme park!

Well, there was a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow after all!

One day Kaylei was sitting outside totaly bummed out.

Her Aunt Kathy saw her and asked her why she was so sad. Kaylei said it was because someone had said that God doesnt exist within her. Kathy knew how much Kaylei loved God and how much this was hurting her. kathy explained that God is in everyone and He shows himself in mysterious ways. Kathy left Kaylei outside to think and out of nowhere, a rainbow appeared. Kaylei beamed with happiness and then knew that it was God who has created the rainbow.

I know i am young but i have met the one i want to be with. He has been there for me for over a year through my surgery i had which was really hard for me. He has been my shoulder to cry on, has stopped me from thinking stupid thoughts, has taught me how to live life to its fullest and to be happy. He was there for me when my doctor told me i might not be able to have kids. He is the love of my life. He is my rainbow and i thank him from the bottom of my heart for everything he has done for me and for always being here for me when i need him the most. I came home to him everynight after work and then he had to move back down south and it tore me apart because i couldnt go with him yet and now i am back at my parents and we are so far apart. Yet when i feel lonely i grab onto the big teddy bear he gave me and curl up to it.. He is my rainbow, and i love him so much.

Well, I have one SPECIAL thing (Well ONE SPECIAL PERSON)in my life that I can say is my RAINBOW IN THE SKY. This begins in December of 2000. You all should know to well, about the time things get ruff and people not knowing which way to turn. Well there I am DEPRESSED about Christmas and not knowing how to buy persents for my son. At this point I am in no mood to put up a tree cause i have nothing to put under it. Then there is my BEST FRIEND calling me up and telling me that I am not aloud to get depressed. This is her favorite time of the year and noone is aloud to get depressed cause we will make things work out. That is her motto (YOU ARE NOT ALOUD TO BE DEPRESSED CAUSE WE HAVE EACH OTHER AND THAT IS WHAT COUNTS). Just to let you know both of our husbands are team truck drivers and are just starting out so no imcome coming in from them yet. But you know she was right, she made things right, she took the money from her own pocket and helped me pay some bills. An!

d to this day she still helpes me either by way of food off her own shelves or money . So I guess you can say she is my RAINBOW for everytime it rains and I see that RAINBOW up there I know it is her looking down on me telling me that things will work out. MY RAINBOW GOES BY THE NAME OF BETH. MY BEST FRIEND,MY SISTER THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF MY LIFE AND ALWAYS GIVING ME A SHOULDER TO CRY ON!!!!!!!

My neighbor is 80 years old & cannot bend down anymore, she was looking to hire someone to plant some flowers in her garden & could not find anyone to do it. So on my day off i went over to her house when she was gone & spent 5 hours digging up the soil adding peat moss & planting her flowers. she was thrilled when she got home!

when i was 20 i got pregnant with my second child..throughout the pregnancy i had on and off problems. when i was only 8 months pregnant i delivered a bay girl weighing 6 lbs and 1 oz. she was born with fluid on her lungs and congestive heart failer. after 5 days of hospitalization i got to bring her home. only a week after bringing her home she started getting sick. it started off as a cold, and progressivly got worse. the night before she turned a month old she stopped breathing on me. by the time we made it to the hospital she was clinically dead. she had been without oxygen for 45 minutes. they rushed to her childrens hostpital after a 5 hour fight to stabilize her. she had been intibated and placed on life support. upon arriving at childrens hospital my baby was in a coma. she was having severe seizures and had no brain function. after 3 days of being at childrens and my babies condition not improving...we started praying to god to send us an angel!

to help my baby. that night as i was standing outside the picu unit at the hospital a small framed woman approached me and asked if i had a child in their. i told her yes and described the situation to her as to what had happened. she asked me if i minded her goin in with me to pray for my baby, of course i didnt mind we needed all the prayers we could get at that time. she walked in and sat down in the rocking chair next to my baby and placed her hand on her little forehead and prayed for my baby. the next morning my baby woke from the coma, that evening the feeding tube was removed and the next day she was sent to a regular room. no one recalled seeing this woman nor was she seen anymore while we was there. in my opionion this was my babies gardien angel and she was sent down to make sure my baby did well.. she is a happy 4 yr old today although she still has long term problems due to the lack of oxygen..but i send a special rainbow to the lady (or should i say angel)!

that helped my baby pull through.

Rainbows come in many shapes and colors. My rainbows are the pets I groom, and my own pets at home. Rainbows are God's gift to us and His creatures create peace and love throughout the world.
