Six Years Old

Six years old,
So we were told
A girl with those eyes
A girl who would die

A child she was,
Just six young years
The memories are endless
So are the tears

It's hard to imagine
Why God would take Jon Benet
I hope we understand
on our final day

And now all we can do
Is sit and pray
For the family of this child
Who has sadly gone away

Our children arent' ours
They're only a loan
And we know Jon Benet
Is with God at home
