Atonement is provided for iniquity; And by the fear of the Lord one departs from evil. Proverbs 16:6
is rooted in a deep personal relationship with Jesus Christ, whereby we learn to be obedient, because we have come to understand the "fear of the Lord"! ![]()
It is knowing that He is a loving God full of mercy who also maintains the right to be the ONLY and FINAL judge of sin. To fear God is to honor Him for His great power, love, glory and holiness as well as to fear His consequences of sin both NOW and for ETERNITY! The fear of God is simply, our motive for obedience! ![]()
We just cannot show up once a week for Church, We must continue to earnestly study and learn the lessons from the Bible while applying them directly in our everyday life. We must learn to be obedient to God's Word in our marriages, our families, the workplace or wherever we may be. This my friends is the only way to be clean & pure in mind, heart and spirit, which will in turn, provide protection from moral decay.
