I would like to dedicate this page to my aunt!

My Aunt  was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 1998 and had a lumpectomy done in November 1998. She was told that her prognosis was very good but had she not joined a research group for breast cancer she would not have been diagnosed for some time yet. It is very important to have regular checks and to check yourself monthly. She is in her late 50s but it can happen at any age. It was estimated that she had had the lump for two years prior to discovery.
