Adair was getting veeeeery plump on April 28th, when her most recent litter was almost 6 weeks old. So plump, in fact, that that night I had a dream she had TWENTY babies! Wow! Luckily (I guess ;) for me, she had only 6, the very next morning =)

The pups are named Cicely, Zoysia, Linden, Sequoia, Rowan, and Rosemary, all names having to do with plants. If you'd like to reserve one of these cuties see my adoption page!

The Birth Announcement

5/22/99 Silly pups, all crammed in the wooden toy ;) (see day #23)

5/17/99 Blinky blinky! Almost all the pups have their eyes open today =)

5/10/99 Okay this is how I think it is: Rowan is an ivory cream male, Zoy is an ivory cream male, Linden is a white male, Sequoia is a golden agouti male, Cicely is a white male.

5/8/99 2 of the pinkies are definitely white, but 2 others look offwhite/creamy. I guess they're ivory creams!! Or possibly apricots but that's less likely. I tried to get a pic that shows the difference but it blurred. But you get the idea. You can also see a creamy pup in the "Day 10" pic. BTW I think all the pups are boys. I will double check soon, but if that's the case then I may have to rethink my naming strategy cause Zoysia, Cicely, and Rosemary don't exactly make good guy names. Sigh... gerbils! Right when I got used to the litters being mostly female they've decided to have all males =P

5/4/99 Oh pooh! It's beginning to look like ALL the pinkies are white! (serves me right for joking about it, pffp).

5/3/99 We're down to 5 pups =( One of them looked a bit grayish & ill on Sunday, and sure enough I couldn't find it about 2 hours later =( The remaining 5 pups are getting chubby though!

4/29/99 There are 5 pink eyeds, and 1 darkie. With my luck, they will be 5 DTWs and 1 agouti! LOL. Well the dark one is definitely agouti, grey agouti, slate, or black, so no polar foxes!
