On May 21st, 1998, I awoke at 6:30 am to prepare for school. As I always do, I checked every tank one by one to be sure all was well with my gerbils. I peeked into the Reilly tank, filled with Eve, Reilly, their 3 sons and 1 daughter, and discovered 2 new babies!! Their 7 week old siblings were skittering about excited at the prospect of big-siblinghood, poking at the little babies and sniffing them and washing them. How cute!!

Twins!!

I've named the 2 babies Whelan and Dell, after 2 guest characters on Earth2. Hopefully these little ones will make it okay!

	TDC's Dell is an adorable little schimmel boy. He is going to live, along with his brother, with Ingrid of Wisconsin.
	TDC's Whelan is Dell's twin brother and is going to live with him = ) He's different from Dell in that his tail has a very *slight* kink. Hey better than nothing! = )

6/24/98 ::sniff:: ::sniff:: The boys are weaned and ready to go! They will be put in the pup tank sometime next week. I'm soo proud of my little survivors! Won't you adopt one?

6/2/98 Looks like Dell & Whelan are both schimmel boys = ) Big sister Becky left today!! Who, oh who will keep them warm and snuggly now?

5/30/98 They're both definitely schimmels, but I can't tell who's M or F yet = )

5/27/98 So far, all looks schimmel, but you never know.

5/26/98 The babies are getting fuzzy = ) I wonder if any will be champagne?
