"Solana Coat of Arms Description "

SOLANA COAT OF ARMS
           1594
The Solana's had for a coat of arms a sun of gold on a deep blue field,
surrounding this a rising sun wiht eight green serpent heads,
sprinkled with gold on a field of gold.

SOLANA: "of the sun"
FACE: Eyes to the east denoting Conquistador.
SERPENTS: Expeditions to the east. To quote Teillard's
definition of the snake, it is: "An animal
endowed with magnetic force. Because it sheds
its skin, it symbolizes the resurrection.
Because of its sinuous movement it signifies
            strength."
GREEN: represents the irreducible element of nature.
BLUE: stands for thinking: also with the sky.
GOLD: corresponds to the mystic aspect of the sun.
CREST: Peer's helmet, silver with gold bars.
