The Monitor Case

Now that I had all the pieces to go in the case, I had to figure out what I was going to do. If you've never seen the inside of a monitor without the works, here it is:

Note the serious lack of a "floor." Get out the cardboard to make a template and then some plywood to make a floor...

 

I think that floor came out pretty good (if I do say so myself)!
I was going to put up walls but decided that it would take away from the fact that this is a monitor, so I left them as they were. My sister has a website so I decided to use her heading for the back wall:
I wired underneath the floor for electric before I put down a "rug." I even sent a wire up to the "ceiling" for a dome light.
You might be able to tell in this picture, the wire is held down with duct-tape (it's a personal joke between me and my sister)!

Since my sister has a window in the room on the wall across from her desk, I had to make a cut-out for that, too. Making the frame was really a test - all those angles, ughhhhhh.

It's time to staring putting it all together...
