SPARKS POLICE DEPARTMENT

Sparks is located adjacent to Reno and is considered by most to be a bedroom community of Reno.

LEFT - This is probably the second patch of the department. I received information that there might be one or two previous to this one. Harry Dixon told me that there was at least one previous patch to this circa 1962-1965.
RIGHT - This was a hat patch, and although large it was used on the hats. The design is a little more complicated than the first one.

This is probably then the third patch. There is a possibility that the order of these patches is incorrect. BELOW - This is the current badge patch.

I am tain that this is the current style patch worn by the department. The hat patch, which is shown below, is exactly the same, only smaller and made of a different material. I hope the sizes are distinguishable on the page. Dixon told me that he has never seen this patch before, and it may not be official.
