Here are some of my direct line surnames.  You will find a little history on the family, and where it is I'm at in researching.  You will also find other researchers not just of the family line but of my collateral lines.  Each family will get their own page as I get the descendancy done.  As of now I only have the Sears family complete.  Plus there are some links to family names, that I can't connect yet.  Enjoy!

BREACH
The only thing known on this family line is the name of Reginald Breach.  It is known that he was from England, but where remains a mystery so far.  Reginald and Beverly met in New York City.  There are different versions as to what happened to their marriage.  One, they went to England and she left him.  Two, he left her stranded in New York.  Three, he went to England without her and never returned because he couldn't book passage, due to a lack of funds.  Four, he returned to England and his family disapproved of the marriage and did not allow him to return. Makes for a good romance novel, don't you think?

ECCLESTON
Guess what?  There are lots and lots and lots of researchers of this particular family.  As you notice the spelling is ECCLESTON, but it seems my particular branch decided to change the spelling from EGGLESTON.  Could explain why I'm a nonconformist!  I inherited it!

Seriously now, I have not included all of the Eggleston's beginning with James.  What I have done, is starting with with Joseph Eccleston and Lucy Gates line all the descendants are there, at least all those I can find at the moment.  And have only a page for direct ancestor's beyond Joseph.  I've provided links to other sites that have information on other Eggleston's.  After I've exhausted Joseph and Lucy, maybe I'll move onto Joseph and Elizabeth Robbins.

A site devoted just to EGGLESTON

Ruth Hakala - she's working with Don on the line.  I met her and her husband in April of 97 and they are truly wonderful people.

GRAHAM
Okay, anyone out there seen my Graham's of Moore County, NC? Do you know how many Grahams settled in the Cape Fear Region?  And of course they all used the same names.  Boy this has been a tough family to find and trace.  At the moment the only known piece of information is Robert Graham Jr married Margaret McLeod, of Scotland.  They had at least two daughters who married brothers.  If you find any please let me know!

RICHARDSON
Ah, the Richardson family!  Well it seems the Richardson's were some of the first settlers in present day Moore Co, NC.  But it seems that several people are trying to give the credit to the Scot's.  Not that I have anything against the Scots, but heck lets give credit where credit is due.  Besides, I have some Scottish in my line!

Descendants of the first Richardson's are still living in Moore Co, some even on the same land passed down generation after generation.  I'm pretty darn proud of my Richardson line.  Of course they have done some mighty non kosher things through the years.  But heck that's what makes a family interesting, don't you think.

I can begin this line with Drury Richardson.  Now, for his father - could it be Thomas, or John, or William?  And could all 3 of these be sons of Stephen Richardson of Pastaquanok Co, NC?  And who the heck is Abraham?  It seems Stephen had a daughter who married George Feagin and guess what the Feagin's and Richardson's show up in present day Moore Co around the same time.  This needs further investigation, wouldn't you agree?  My general theory is that all the Richardson's out of early day Moore Co are related.  Some went onto TN and AL then onto TX.

The Richardson's have very close ties to the Ritter family.  Seems two of Drury's daughter's married Ritter brothers, and possibly my William, son of Drury, married Margaret Ritter.  Just as a footnote, most families in Moore Co are related. And there were numerous Richardson/Ritter marriages along the way.

WARNER
The Warner family, like the Sears family, just appeared.  This line starts with Hardin Warner.  Hardin, according to the Rev War Pension Application, was from the Dobbs/Greene County, NC area.  But alas, nothing can be found.  There was nothing really significant about the Warner family, yet.  Descendants are still living in the Moore County area.  And I've only found a couple of people researching this line.
