Dear Mother I now take My pen in hand to wright to
you to let you now that I am
well at prsent hoping these lines May
find you in the same stae of helth I shal
not Come home as soon as I expected
I will in form you that I am very much
trobeled about poor henry I had now
more thought of his inlistin then I had
of flying he told Me nothing about it
til he come to town one night and got
with the infurnel Soldiers and he appears
to be very well satisfyed but I no he ant
and you tell Mr T W Collins to git two
or three men with him and come to town
and take him away for thay are going to start
away next weak or the weak affter and
every boddy says if they ware you they
would come and ty him and cary him
in spite of him and I believe if you
would come he would be willing to
go with you I am mity sory but I canot
help it but you come without fail
and bring his cloths and dont go back
without him I think he is sary foret
now I expect to work with the same
man ten days longer and then maby
I may come hom if dont conclude
to fish this spring and if I do I knot
no when I shall come home I want you
to do the best you can Sins you would
not send my cloths I must try to do
without them So I have not got
mutch of any thing to wright to you
if you can rent some of the old place you May
do it for there is not a noff thear to tend
