The War Memorial and Veterans Wall sit along side and above Highway 11 as one enters Beattyville from the north - just before the railroad crossing. The Veterans Wall has bricks, donated by local residents, honoring the service of Lee County veterans. A walk leads to the hill above where there is a park and monument with four columns listing the names of the deceased veterans from each war. |
