Birth control is another topic commonly taken for granted and not thought twice about. This is something that needs serious consideration. Everything out there is NOT as safe as your doctor may lead you to believe. And on another level...what would God have you do?

We have strong convictions against birth control. Especially any chemical or surgical form of such. Chemical forms of birth control are simply not as safe as your doctor may lead you to believe. And were you aware that "the pill" causes abortions? It makes the lining of the uterus inhospitable for implantation. Meaning, on that rare ocassion when an egg may make it's way out and get fertilized, it will not be able to implant and grow. The body will then "do away" with that newly formed being. Life begins at conception. You have, thus, just had an abortion!

And surgical methods?? That is such a serious and invasive procedure, regardless of whether it's her or him having things done. And that is just so permanent. What if a few years down the road you decide you DO want another child? I just think that anything done to prevent a child, to prevent such a blessing, is wrong, is against the will of God. Children are a blessing of the Lord. Who are we to deny God's blessings? Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one's youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them... Psalm 127:3-5 While, I still would not promote natural family planning methods, condoms or the like, I view them as "acceptable". At least those are noninvasive and do not jack up your body's natural hormonal balance.
