We're still plucking along in Horizons math. He's done really well with that. So far this year he has learned about measuring, telling time, fractions, adding 3 single digit numbers, word problems..he's taken well to each. He, naturally, has moments where he shuts down, but, I imagine any kid does. And I know already that Levi is prone to shut downs at times. We just do our best to work around that, change the attitude and go on.

Things are going well in our Language and History curriculum. He's now learning what a noun is, what a proper noun is, memorizing poems. He's learned what a historian is and what archaeology is about. He's done some Egyptian and African studies thus far. So many neat things to do!

Here he is with one of his frogs. The boys catch frogs practically every day. We even have a little 'swampy' area with tadpoles. They're lovin' that LOL
