It IS very confusing when trying to decide how you feel and what you think about President Clinton.

ASK YOURSELF this. . . Do you think that it is ok to lie under oath if you are telling a lie about something embarassing or something that you want to keep a secret?

ASK YOURSELF this . . . Do you think that the President should have to obey the same laws that you do?

ASK YOURSELF this . . . Do you think it would be ok if the Senate made a deal with President Clinton? The deal would be that the president says that he did lie under oath and the Senate lets him keep his job as president.

ASK YOURSELF this . . . If the Senate DOES make a deal with President Clinton what do you think that this says to us kids and to our country?

ASK YOURSELF this . . . If you were a Senator, how would you vote?

ASK YOURSELF this. . . If your Mom ask you to tell her the truth about something do you think that means to just tell her PART of the truth if it will keep you from getting in trouble? Do you think that the President should have to tell the WHOLE truth to the country that he is in charge of?

ASK YOURSELF this . . . Do you think it is important for the President to be a good leader? Do you think a good leader should be a good example to kids?

First of all I do NOT think that it is ok for the President to tell lies to his country. It is not ok for him to tell lies under oath either because there are people in jail for doing the same thing and he is NO better than the rest of us. I do not want the Senate to make a deal with President Clinton because i think the President should have to go to trial and then he should lose his job. If the Senate lets the President get away with lying under oath then they are telling kids that it is ok to lie under oath and they are also telling kids that it doesnt matter what you do if you are president. I think the president should be a good leader for kids and he should be a good example in the way he behaves.
