GLENN SWANSON WAKEFIELD
--------------------
Son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wakefield Died Last Evening After Illness of Influenza and Pneumonia.

The influenza epidemic has sadly afflicted Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wakefield and family and as a
climax to their siege of sickness their son, Glenn, died last evening at 7 o'clock. All of the
family except Mrs. Wakefield were down with the malady at one time, and all escaped the pneumonia
turn except Glenn. Efforts to combat the treacherous disease were to no avail and that he had to
yield his young life is a matter of deep sorrow to all.

family homestead a few miles west of Camden village Jan. 2, 1904, therefore, at the time of his
death lacking but one day of being 15 years of age. He was a promising young lad and will be
missed by all who knew him. Three years ago he united in membership with the Methodist church of
Westdale.

Besides his parents two brothers and two sisters survive: George, with the A.E.F. in France;
Earle, Esther and Helen at home.

The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 from the family residence, Rev. A. E. Potter,
his pastor, officiating. Burial in Westdale.
