Mrs. Kittie Miller's Rites Held Tuesday

Mrs. Kittie J. Miller, 69, 19 Liberty Street, died October 9, 1954 in Oneida City Hospital.

She was born June 19, 1885, in Camden, daughter of George and Rose Wilson Swanson. She was
twice married. She first became the wife of Lewis James. He died December 6, 1943.

She was a member of the United Church, Queen Village Rebekah Lodge 554, and the Past Noble Grands
Club, Camden. She had lived nearly all her life here.

She leaves cousins, Roy W. Swanson, Rome; Mrs. Howard Shepherd, Endicott; Mrs. Kenneth Flynn,
Cicero; one step-daughter Mrs. Fannie Van Vike, Winlock, Wash.; one step-granddaughter Mrs. Frank
Morrey, Rome; one step-grandson, Charles Van Vike, Winlock, Wash.

Funeral services were performed at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the B. A. Sanborn and Son funeral home by the
Rev. Charles G. Chamberlain, and burial was in Forest Park Cemetery.

Bearers were Irwin Philpott, Otto Harlander, Harland Cole, Earl Niles, Riley Scoville and Owen
Parry. Relatives and friends attended from Rome, Endicott, Cicero, Winlock, Wash., West Amboy
and Westdale.

Flowers were from the Ladies' Aid Society of the United Church, Past Noble Grands' Club of Camden,
Rome friends and neighbors and relatives.
