The passing of Mrs. Lillian J. Price Perkins, 63, wife of Woodard Perkins, Third street, about 6
o'clock Friday afternoon after an illness dating from early Tuesday morning, came as a deep shock
to her hosts of friends and acquaintances.

She was born in camden on April 8, 1874, a daughter of James and Jean A. Lambie Price. Here she
spent her entire life, where her gracious manners and pleasant smile won for her a place high
in the life of the village and in the hearts of her legion of friends. On September 16, 1896,
she became the bride of Woodard Perkins, at Cleveland, N.Y. During her married life here she
was ever known as a willing worker in United Church ranks, was a charter member of the Ladies'
Auxiliary of the Arthur S. Moran Post American Legion, an officer for many years in the Camden
Chapter, O.E.S., a member of the Camden Chapter Daughters of the Revolution, and a member of the
Camden Grange.

Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Marion Lyons of Syracuse and Mrs.
Lawrence Curtiss, Pulaski, two sons, Ray W. of Hannibal and Paul W. of Camden; two brothers,
Charles Price and Frank C. Price, Camden; four grandchildren; 3 nephews and two nieces.

Monday at 2 o'clock, final services were held at the B. A. Sanborn and Son Funeral Home, Main
street, with the Rev. B. A. Walton, pastor of the United Church, officiating. Interment was
in Forest Park Cemetery.

Bearers were Gordon Roberts, Adam Raymond, Clarence Rush, Eben Carle, Arthur Fenton and William
Yutzler.

The seating capicity of the Funeral Home was taxed to its limit by the great number of friends
and relatives gathered to pay their last respect. Delegations from the Eastern Stars, the DAR
and the Camden Grange attended in a body. Seldom, if ever, in the past few years have the
floral contributions been equaled.

Atending from out-of-town were: Mr. and Mrs. William Fenton, Chittenango, N.Y.; Mr. and Mrs.
Leonard Crenan, Mr. and Mrs. claude Crenan, Mrs. Hannah C. Vosburgh, Syracuse, N.Y.; Miss
M. C. Sallis, New York City; Mr. and Mrs. June Meeker, Groton, N.Y.; Mrs. Charles Gouger,
Forestport; Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Failin, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Baldwin, Utica; Mrs. Julia
Rivenburgh, Beaver Dam; Mrs. Cora Rowell, Rome; Mrs. Charles Congdon, North Bay; Lawrence
Curtiss, Pulaski and Woodard and James Perkins, sons of Ray W. Perkins of Hannibal, N.Y.
