PHILA C. MILLER PASSES AT HOME

Native of Camden in Poor Health Since November; Here 30 Years

Mrs. Phila C. Swanson Miller, 61, wife of Charles W. Miller, upper Floyd Ave., died at her home
at 5:30 a.m. today. She had been in poor health since last November.

Mrs. Miller was born at Camden on November 18, 1873, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank
Swanson. At Camden on July 19, 1893, she was married to Mr. Miller. She had resided in the town
of Rome 30 years and was a member of Wright Settlement Grange. She attended the M. E. Church
here.

Her husband survives with a daughter, Mrs. Harry Van Vleck, Rome-Oneida road; a brother Roy W.
Swanson, Rome, and three grandchildren.
